Geheimweh

Geheimweh

An Installation—Exhibtion at the Kuhturm gallery in Leipzig.
Reflecting the state of the place I called home, the city Leipzig —undergoing an strong gentrification process— through my eyes. Displacement, consumerism, empty places and a very untidy Nature offered a round in the gallery, quite a paragon of the houses most of us live in. Through the course of the exhibition, twoo weeks. Fruits and vegetables underwent natural decay, rot. Colours changed, and life reappeard in the form of hundreds of tiny flies.

all the modern things
like cars and such
have always existed
they’ve just been waiting in a mountain
for the right moment
listening to the irritating noises
of dinosaurs and people
dabbling outside
all the modern things
have always existed
they’ve just been waiting
to come out
and multiply
and take over
it’s their turn now…
