Between the 3rd of October 2011 and the 1st of January 2012.
I’ve been invited to spend 3 monthes on dance-floor, in the Project Code de Nuit shown in the exhibition Collector at Tri Postal in Lille.
Code de Nuit
A project initiated by the Artist Cécile Paris reflecting on the links, contacts, contradictions, and seduction between Art and nightclubs, Art in the night, people in night’s lights…
Code de Nuit has no definite shape. It is a label, a studio, a community, a mess that I’ve been asked to witness and record.
With two small digital cameras, eyes and ears, I am blogging on what comes to my attention in a 400m2 studio space, in the middle of an exhibition. Artists, musicians, architects, dancers, nightlovers, onlookers and children are all protagonists under the mirror ball. Code de Nuit, is what they make of it.
The blog as the space in Collector remains in a permanent “studio” state, a work in progress, correcting and erasing itself, changing shape, trying to tell the truth in the House of mirrors.

A small Graphic Identity was then spontaneously developped for a few ponctual events around the Rockwell typeface :
